The short answer: Ezoic pays when you have “at least $20 USD in total finalized earnings from previous months,” it initiates the payment on the 27th of the month, and it sends it by the method you chose in Payment Settings. Everything here comes from the Ezoic Help Center article Ezoic Payments and Ezoic’s Terms of Service, both checked 2 November 2026.
This piece is about getting paid. If you have not joined yet, the entry rule (Ezoic asks for 250,000+ monthly active users) and the rest of the joining process are covered in Ezoic requirements.
The Ezoic payment threshold
The default minimum is $20, and it is measured against finalised earnings, not the estimated figure on your dashboard. If your finalised balance is under $20, Ezoic says it “will automatically roll over and accumulate until the threshold is met.”
You can raise the threshold. Ezoic says you “can manually increase this to any amount (e.g., $100, $500, or $1,000) under the Payment Settings tab,” which helps if you would rather not pay a transaction fee on several small payments. There is no separate minimum per payout method: the $20 account threshold, or whatever higher figure you set, is the only one.
The Ezoic payment schedule: Net 30, 60 or 90
Ezoic lets you choose between standard payouts and delayed payouts “with a financial bonus.” You change this under User Icon > Billing & Payments > Payment Settings.
| Terms | When a month’s earnings are paid | Bonus | Ezoic’s example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Net 30 (default) | End of the following month | None | January earnings paid at the end of February |
| Net 60 | End of the second month after | 1.5% | $10,000 of January earnings paid at the end of March as $10,150 |
| Net 90 | End of the third month after | 2.25% | $10,000 of January earnings paid at the end of April as $10,225 |

Two details matter. Bonuses “are calculated on Ezoic earnings only (excluding AdSense Mediation),” so Mediation revenue never earns the extra 1.5% or 2.25%. And if you switch terms mid-cycle, bonuses “appear in your history as they are earned.”
The Terms of Service frame timing differently: payments are sent “within approximately thirty-five (35) days after receipt of payment by Company,” and you are not entitled to payment for ads “unless and until the Company has received payment for such Ads from the advertiser.” The help article is the schedule you will see; the Terms add that it rests on Ezoic being paid first.
Ezoic payment dates and the 15th cut-off
Three dates shape each month. Payment History “is typically updated around the 4th of each month with the previous month’s finalized totals.” Any change to your Tax Information or Payment Method “must be submitted by the 15th of the month to take effect for that month’s payout cycle.” And the payment is initiated on the 27th.

Initiated is not the same as received. For Wise and bank transfers, Ezoic says “international bank transfers can take 2–6 business days to clear.” Take January earnings on Net 30: the payment is initiated on 27 February, provided the finalised balance is at least $20, your tax information is complete and any payment or tax changes went in by 15 February.
If a month passes without a payment, Ezoic’s own first check is whether your “Finalized” total from the previous month, not the current month’s “Estimated” earnings, reached $20.
Ezoic payment methods and fees
Five methods; the fee notes are Ezoic’s own words.
| Method | Typical fees and notes |
|---|---|
| Wise (bank transfer) | “Subject to variable currency conversion fees. Bank transfers to US banks are free of charge.” |
| PayPal | “Up to 4% currency conversion fee for USD.” |
| Payoneer | “2% currency conversion fee for most currencies, reduced to 0.15% for automatic bank transfers to CAD, GBP, EUR, PKR, and CNY, and 0.50% for INR. A $15 fee applies for receiving funds in USD” |
| Check | “Mailed via USPS. Not recommended for international users.” |
| Direct Deposit via Payoneer | “Free for US bank accounts.” |

You do not need a Wise account: Ezoic “uses their network to send money,” so you only supply your IBAN or local bank details. With Payoneer, changing the linked email means asking Payoneer Support to “release” the old connection. Failed PayPal payments are “usually because the account is not verified or is restricted from receiving international payments,” and Ezoic asks you to clear that with PayPal before requesting a re-issue. Whichever you pick, the Terms say you are responsible for charges from your bank or payment provider.
Tax forms, holds and adjustments
No tax form, no payment. Ezoic says it is “legally required to collect W-8/W-9 tax information in order to process and issue your payments,” under User Icon > Billing & Payments > Tax Information, and the payments FAQ adds: “Ensure your tax form doesn’t say “Pending” or “Missing Info.”” Ezoic points you to a tax adviser or irs.gov rather than advising itself. Its “Tax Items” help page says US-based publishers who earn $600 or more in a tax year receive a 1099-NEC by email before the end of January, except corporations and anyone paid via PayPal.

The Terms explain why a figure can change after you see it. Dashboard revenue amounts “are estimates and are subject to change at any time.” Ezoic’s Terms of Service state no less than 82% of Net Revenue from display ads, less adjustments for fraud, invalid traffic, traffic quality and charge-backs; how that compares is covered in Raptive vs Ezoic. A payment “may be delayed while the investigation is pending or withheld entirely,” including while Ezoic awaits confirmation from ad networks. Money clawed back by an ad provider is not owed to you, and invalid clicks or impressions, including those from your own IP addresses, are not paid. The same logic applies at AdSense, as AdSense invalid traffic explains.

Two more Terms clauses are worth knowing. If an advisor code is linked to your account, half of each advisor commission comes out of your Net Revenue. And if you dispute a payment made or withheld, you must notify Ezoic in writing within 30 days, or the claim is waived. Mediation revenue, finally, “is paid by Google AdSense, not Ezoic”; our guide to AdSense payments covers that side.
What happens to your balance when you leave
If you terminate in good standing with a balance at or above the threshold, the Terms say you are paid “within approximately 120 days after the end of the calendar month in which you terminated.” Any balance below the threshold “will remain unpaid.” An account inactive for six or more consecutive months may be closed, with a balance at or above the threshold still paid.

So before you leave, check the finalised balance. If you raised the threshold above $20, lower it back and let one more cycle pay out first. If you are leaving for another network, the options are compared in Ezoic alternatives.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Ezoic payment threshold?
$20 in finalised earnings from previous months. Smaller balances roll over until they reach it, and you can raise the threshold in Payment Settings.
When does Ezoic pay?
On the default Net 30 terms, a month’s earnings are paid at the end of the following month, with payment initiated on the 27th.
Does Ezoic pay a bonus for waiting?
Yes. Net 60 adds 1.5% and Net 90 adds 2.25%, calculated on Ezoic earnings only, not AdSense Mediation.
Why didn’t Ezoic pay me this month?
Check that last month’s finalised total reached $20, that your tax form is not “Pending” or “Missing Info”, and that any payment or tax changes went in by the 15th.
How much does Ezoic pay per 1,000 views?
Ezoic’s payment pages publish no figure. Our piece on RPM explains how earnings per 1,000 views are worked out.
The takeaway Reach $20 finalised, file your W-8 or W-9, make every change by the 15th, and expect the payment to be initiated on the 27th of the month after you earned it on Net 30. Pick the payout method for its fees, and never leave with a balance under the threshold.
